Individual Therapy

People seek therapy for a wide variety of reasons, from coping with major life challenges or childhood trauma, to dealing with depression or anxiety, to simply desiring personal growth and greater self-knowledge. A client and psychologist may work together for as few as five or six sessions or as long as several years, depending on the client’s unique needs and personal goals for therapy.

Relationship Counselling

Early relationship work can identify possible problems and indicate solutions. Most people can change if they are not too stuck in habits and automatic behaviours. Working together can make good relationships better, and improve aspects that may concern you either now, or possibly in the future. But most people don’t think about this in the beginning when passions and optimism are high.

Group Therapy

Many people with problems such as anxiety, stress management, antenatal anxiety and or depression, postnatal depression and anxiety, low self-esteem, or major health problems, do very well in therapeutic groups. A big advantage is that it is frequently more affordable than individual therapy. It can also be a great follow-up to individual therapy, to maintain treatment learning and gains in a supportive environment.
